The development will see a dramatic cluster of buildings that appear to emerge directly from the sea and create a punctuation mark at the eastern limit of the City. The development will add a 'flotilla' of dynamic elements to the marina, marking the interface between the cliffs, sea and sky.

Whilst the development draws inspiration from its natural surroundings, it is also a contemporary expression of the famous 'white' architecture of the Brighton seafront, forming a new composition entirely appropriate to its setting.

The architectural plans for the scheme have been highlighted by CABE as one of four national developments demonstrating best practice in design and planning.
